As usual, Great Britain and the rest of the United Kingdom are ahead of American policymakers when it comes to the federal regulation of e-cigarettes. In a press release on June 12, 2013, the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA)―the agency responsible for protecting U.K. citizens from unsafe medicines and medical devices―announced that all nicotine-containing products (NCP), including e-cigs, are to be regulated by the government.
This new classification puts e-cigarettes on the same legal level as nicotine gums, patches, and mouth sprays designed to help wean smokers off cigarettes, meaning that licensed e-cigarette manufacturers in the U.K. can market their product as smoking cessation devices.
Immediately following the announcement, Jeremy Mean, the MHRA’s Group Manager of Vigilance and Risk Management of Medicines, released a statement, saying: The decision announced today provides a framework that will enable good quality products to be widely available. It’s not about banning products that some people find useful, it’s about making sure that smokers have an effective alternative that they can rely on to meet their needs.
U.K. vapor smokers are free to use their e-cigarettes wherever smoking is allowed, and there still appears to be no indication that the U.K. will go down the same path as France in banning e-cigs from public places. As British chief medical officer, Dame Sally, says: Smokers are harmed by the deadly tar and toxins in tobacco smoke, not the nicotine.

Before you order your first starter kit there are several things you should keep in mind. It’s a good idea to learn as much as possible about the products, and what you think will work for you.
1. Understand quality. This is a huse variable in the e-cigarette market!
2. Know what you want. Do you want to go for an e-cigarette starter kit with lots of accessories, or would you prefer something more basic? You can go bare-bones basic, if you like, with our Ihealthcigs Blister kit, and even opt for E-Cigarette Disposables if you want no commitment at all.
Commit to giving up cigarettes, if you haven’t yet. If this is what you truly want, focus your intentions on that goal. For some it’s easy, and for others it takes some some effort. Understand that quitting cigarettes may not happen immediately. It can take a while, weeks or even months to wean yourself entirely off cigarettes.
3. Refund policy. Make sure the company you buy from has one. There is always the possibility of not liking your kit. A good company will definitely offer a way for you to return it.
4. Warranty. Always important also because things can, and will inevitably happen. Sometimes you may get a product that does not work, and there can be times where things stop working. Don’t take chances with companies that don’t back up their products and help their customers out.
Embarking on the decision to use electronic cigarettes instead of tobacco is a really big one, and in order to have the most successful experience with it, you should plan accordingly. It’s always a good choice to go with your healthier option, so set yourself up right!

Getting support from the important people in your life can make a big difference as your quit traditional smoking. In fact, two out of five former smokers felt that support from others mattered a lot in their success. Remember that you are not in this alone. Your friends and family are there for you, in both good times and bad.
1. Surround yourself with people you trust. Think of the people you trust the most―people you can talk to about anything and who have been there for you when you needed them. They could be friends, significant others, parents, co-workers, or other family members. Whoever they are, spend more time with them. Bring friends along for your daily activities. Grab lunch with a friend, get a group together to go shopping, or meet up at a sporting event.
2. Focus on people who can help. If a friendship doesn't feel right anymore, it might be time to let it go. Don't be afraid to try a little distance with people who aren't giving you the support you need. Letting go can be hard, but it is sometimes be for the best. Focus your energy on spending time with people who make you feel good about yourself and want you to succeed.
3. Invest in your relationships. Make a point to invest time and effort to important relationships. People are more willing to provide support when they know you are there for them. You will also feel more comfortable calling on them for support if the relationship is strong. Go to that movie your friend really wants to see, even if it's not your top choice. Or go out of your way to call a friend just to chat and see how things are going.
Finally, you can also switch to a better alternative -- Starbuzz e-hoses which is healthier than traditional smoking for your health.

As a smoker, one of the biggest positive changes you can make to safeguard your smile is to stop smoking cigarettes that leave behind yellow teeth stains, and replace them with Starbuzz e-cigs instead. In addition to a host of other health issues, smokers routinely suffer from a range of dental problems, including: tooth loss, yellow stains, plaque buildup, bad breath, gum-related infections, mouth and oral cancers, and other risks.
Dental experts estimate that, on average, male smokers lose almost 3 teeth every 10 years because of traditional cigarettes, and women half that number. While tooth loss is a natural result of aging in non-smokers as well, the rate at which your teeth will fall out is double that of a non-smoker. Just do the math and you’ll find that if you started smoking in your teens or early twenties, then by the time you’re middle aged you would have lost 5 to 6 teeth – much too young to have lost that many chompers already.
The tar and ash from cigarette smoke also causes residue and plaque to accumulate on the surface of your teeth and in your mouth’s crevices, which causes tooth discoloration and calculus buildup in the long term. This is why many dentists can spot a smoker immediately.
If the yellow teeth stains don’t give a smoker away, then the bad breath will. Cigarette smoke is laden with chemicals which are not only carcinogenic, but also stick to the lining of the mouth and emit a putrid odor. This can lead to halitosis, or chronic bad breath, which is the third most frequent reason people seek out dental care, behind tooth decay and gum disease.
Speaking of the gums, smoking also appears to restrict blood flow to your gums, which affects wound healing and the overall well-being of the mouth. Even more disconcerting for smokers is cardiologists and periodontists (dentists specializing in gum disease) have long suspected a possible link between the health of your gums and the health of your heart. While this is yet to be proven, both dental and heart problems center around inflammation, which may indicate the two may be intertwined.
